Position Summary: To give skilled bedside care to patients according to their individual needs including administration of medications, treatments, and cardiac monitoring.
Coordinates and assists with the supervision of patient care given by members of the patient care team.
Reports To: Unit Manager Supervises: None Emergency Room Nurse FT/Mixed Rotating Weekends Emergency Room Position Requirements: Licensure/ Certification/ Registration: * Current California RN license.
* BCLS certification required * ACLS certification required * PALS certification required * Newly hired or transferring staff must present a valid TNCC certificate within 6 months from the date of hire or transfer into the emergency department..
Education: * BSN, and or specially certification preferred.
* High School Diploma * Diploma from an accredited nursing school Experience: * Minimum one-year acute care hospital experience in area of specialty preferred.
Exception: If a new graduate, must attend new graduate program prior to assignment. Special Qualifications: * Orientation competencies are reflected by valid California RN license and are validated during process.
