Our 187-bed hospital specializes in maternal/child health, surgical services on both an inpatient and extensive outpatient basis, urological services including lithotripsy, cancer care with state-of-the-art radiation therapy, rehabilitation therapy programs and a wide array of diagnostic imaging capabilities.
Reston Hospital Center is a certified Stroke Center, certified Total Joint Center and the only accredited Chest Pain Center in Northern Virginia.
Reston Hospital is the only Hospital in Northern Virginia to receive Joint Commission designation as a Top Performer on Key Quality measures for 3 consecutive years.

Additional Information about our Operating Room: * 14 OR Rooms * 2 Da Vinci Robotics (XI and SI), Mazor Robotics for spinal, and Mako Robot for orthopedics * Level II Trauma Center * Self scheduling system * Specializing include: Ortho, Spine, Neuro, and total joints * Part of Shared Governance Councils * A supportive environment focused on fostering educational opportunities and specialty certification * Leaders on this unit have a passion for supporting nurses in reaching their professional goals, excellent practice, and collegial relationships EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: * Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required) * BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred) * Tuition Reimbursement Program ($5,250/calendar year) LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: * Current Registered Nurse License in this state * American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required) * CNOR certification (preferred) - HCA will pay for certification and bonus will be offered upon completion EXPERIENCE: * Minimum of one year experience as a Perioperative RN or completion of a Perioperative Nurse course * Scrubbing or surgical assistant experience (preferred)
