Position Summary Wehave an excellent opportunity for a Health Care Professional to make adifference for our employees and affiliated staff whilst utilizing his/herclinical and management experience. This key role oversees the dailymanagement of a site-specific Employee Health Department.
This includesdirecting medical care for all workplace injuries/illnesses and coordinatingpre-employment screening, annual immunization reviews, and medical surveillancefor healthcare and non-healthcare workers.
* In conjunctionwith the VP of Human Resources, develops employee health and wellness programsincluding but not limited to communication plans, training programs, vendorcoordination, analytics, reporting and evaluation of outcomes.
Identifies workrelated illness and injury trends and recommends preventative measures.Provides consultation to leaders regarding occupational health and safety (suchas safe lift/ needle stick prevention, etc.) and reasonable accommodation.Participates on committees and performs clerical and nursing duties in supportof Employee Health functions.
Monitors financial performance variance againstbudget on a monthly basis and ensures accurate and timely record keeping.Manages employee productivity and competence, including hiring, training, andevaluating performance.
Minimum 2 years clinical management experience whichincludes overseeing clinical staff and/or employee/occupational healthprograms.
Prefer 5 years of experience in a progressive leadership rolein nursing or prior experience in managing an employee health department orclinic.
* Bachelor's degreepreferred.
