Patient Registration - Full-time / Part-time

Looking for a Patient Registration candidate for a position downtown Indianapolis.

These candidates will be checking in patients at the front desk of the hospital. They will be patient facing and performing the duties below in regards to the registration of patients.

Job Duties:
-Completes interview with patient/patient representative to collect information necessary to complete patient financial navigation function including, but not limited to, demographic, financial (insurance, guarantor), and clinical information (referring physician).

-Documents patient information in system.
-Verifies patient identity by obtaining picture ID or legal documentation.
-Provides initial notification of patient admission to the insurance company
-Completes transaction related to the admission, discharge, and transfer of patients
-Accepts scheduled and emergency admissions and assists in making appropriate status assignment of patients.
-Provides assistance to patient/family with directions throughout the hospital, including maps.
- Refers uninsured patients for further evaluation or financial assistance.

Requirements:

-Data entry
-Customer Service
-Admissions/Registration/receptionist/secretary experience
- Adaptable (will be asked to work in different departments)

Shift Choices:

8a-6:30p Rotating weekends
9a-9p Rotating weekends
9a-5:30p M-F
2:30p-1a Rotating Weekends
6a-4:30p Rotating Weekends
7a-5:30p Rotating Weekends, Four 10 hr shifts
