Sr. Service Technician (Mission Critical/Data Centers)
Perform inspections and schedule preventive maintenance on equipment and critical infrastructure of high-voltage electrical systems and DC Power plants. Special emphasis on Mission Critical and Data center environments.
This company is a medium sized construction and service company that focuses on mission critical spaces.
They have a local office here in Howard County, MD and support work from Annapolis to Southern VA. Some their clients include major telecom carriers to include comcast and verizon.
They typically maintan and build smaller projects and upkeep smaller electrical systems for the carrier. **Great opportunity for someone that wants to get into a more stationary position that is more revolved around maintenance versus constantly doing services day to day.
Must be a team player committed to working in a quality, safety-conscious environment.
They need the person to be central to Annapolis or Stanton VA area.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates need to have electrical journeyman's license or Master Electrician
Valid driver's license needed.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills to include MS office and excel
Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
strongly desired : expereince working in data center or mission critical environment.
Preferred experience: * Electrical System Operations & Maintenance: 3 years
