Our team of interdisciplinary engineers and architects works collaboratively with clients to design buildings and processes that are on track for safety, performance, and sustainability.

The Electrical Designer/Engineer position will assist the lead Electrical Engineer with the electrical design and drafting for the buildings engineering group.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce aspects of electrical design and construction documents in Revit and/or AutoCAD while working with Senior Electrical Engineers and other Electrical Designers
  • Ensure designs meet applicable codes and regulations
  • Perform calculations using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software (Visual, SKM, etc)
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during design and construction Maintains effective communication and cooperation with and among these partners
  • Perform construction field reviews and interact with contractors
  • Supports managers to ensure projects stay within established budget constraints
  • Maintains high satisfaction rating from clients through superior service, quality workmanship, timely production and thorough understanding of client requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
  • 3+ years design experience in electrical design for Retail/Commercial related projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit with a strong focus on Revit
  • Professional Engineering license is a plus
  • LEED accredited professional is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be organized to be able to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a diverse team of staff and consultants
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
