About this job
Currently looking for a laborer to add onto one of their drilling crews. There is 1 opening for a laborer individual with Field experience working on drilling projects around their "Great Lakes Territory". Candidate will be working long hours in all types of weather (hot, cold and rainy weather). Will be assisting Drillers with operating water trucks and articulating trucks on work sites, etc. The articulating truck will be used. Will be working 5-6 days a week and 10 hours a day. They must be able to travel 100% move dirt around the construction site and water truck to prevent dust storms. Labor work is skilled and manually intensive.
Day In the Life:
These candidates will be reporting to either the Livonia office, or if traveling, to the site, with the team around 7am every morning. The exact time will be decided by Bob the day before based on when project needs to be started for the day. The team will then get into company trucks and drive to the sites. When they get there, the drill team will start getting ready to drill so this candidate will be moving heavy equipment like drill bits, buckets, tools, etc. in order to get the day started. They will be drilling up samples as well so this candidate will be collecting those and putting them away as directed. This will be an average of 10 hour days, 5-6 days per week so this candidate has to be willing to work these hours as well. Must have stead work ethic and be able to ask for more work when finishing a task.
OSHA 40 is a MUST. OR ability to obtain OSHA 40.
