Software Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

We have a 6 month contract position for a Software Engineer with our client in Pomona.

Design/develop simulation software and test scripts from software requirements to support testing of air monitoring software for space applications. The software will use communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553B, and Ethernet. Support software verification and validation testing including developing and/or running qualification test procedures.

Looking for person to do the following:

1. Document high-level program requirements
2. Document data interfaces
3. Develop windows based program, probably C/C++ under Visual Studio, to process and translate data between 2 serial links.
4. Configure remote desktop window, startup and operating parameters
5. Python experience is helpful, but not required if person can pick it up
6. Labview experience is helpful, but not required
