Searching for a Qualified Industrial Electrical Technician looking for a stable career in industrial maintenance.

Electrical Technician Minimum Qualifications
Qualification requirements:
��� AS or AAS Electrical/Electronic Technology Degree or AS or BS in Electronics Engineering Technology Preferred but not required
��� At least 5 years of manufacturing/technical field experience

Electrical Technician Accountability's:
��� Maintaining a safe work environment and the safety of yourself and others. Must recognize unsafe conditions and practices and make corrections to prevent injuries and property loss. Required to complete safety audits/inspections of the assigned work area; thorough investigations of incidents and accidents, job safety analysis, risk assessments and participate in regular safety meetings.
��� Maintain work place organization and ensure good housekeeping practices in work areas.
��� Monitor production processes and product quality. Coordinate efforts to make adjustments to the process or equipment to maintain quality and production standards. Track and report daily performance measurements.
��� Troubleshoot/Diagnose causes of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operation equipment, utilizing standard electronic test equipment while referencing technical drawings and documents.
��� Supports engineers and other technical staff in responding to problems
��� Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance functions.
��� Open and honest communication with all employees to build trust and effective teamwork. Encourage involvement in achieving a shared objective toward goals and values.
��� Active involvement in World Class Manufacturing activities to include problem solving, continuous improvement, training and total productive maintenance.
��� Demonstrate a strong work ethic. Use time productively to accomplish challenging work goals and to develop efficient work methods.
��� Create and update documentation of all types: schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, assembly diagrams, maintenance logs, standard operating procedures, and instruction manuals, to keep documentation accurate, available and ready for use as needed.

Electrical Technician Skills & Abilities:
��� Electrical skills focused on, but not limited to:
o Controls: PLC, VFD, Solenoids, Servos, Burners.
o Power Distribution
o Allen Bradley Drives-Preferred
o Endress and Hauser Flow and Temperature Transmitters Preferred
o AC Motors & VFD
o Field Devices: Limit Switches, Proximity Switches, Load Cells.
o Diagnostic Tools: Meger Meter, Multi-Meter, Amp Probe, Infrared Thermometer, Oscilloscope.

��� Lean Manufacturing/Systematic Problem Solving Tool Knowledge preferred
��� Ability to maintain attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks.
��� Demonstrates a commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.
��� Change oriented. Is excited and energized by innovations in technology and systems.
��� Ability to work in a drug-free environment.
��� Mechanical understanding to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems. Understands technology and can grasp challenging technical issues.
��� Ability to work flexible shift schedules and weekends.
��� Successfully pass written and practical Electrical testing.
