About this job
AEROTEK is currently seeking for a full time Shop Technician to build unique tools for oil and gas industries.
The Shop Technician will be putting together mechanical and simple electromechanical components to build and refurbishing large tools utilized in the he pipe lines and oil & gas industry for companies all over the world.
The assembler will be will be working at a state-of-the-art facility inside a nice clean and well set up manufacturing shop.
Responsibilities:
Assembling mechanical components which may include preparation of mechanical and electrical components, mechanical assembly and basic wiring equipment
Inspection and verifying of you work upon completion
Basic understanding of diagrams and schematics
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience of assembling mechanical or large electrical mechanical components
Any automotive or mechanical knowledge is applicable
Ability to read and follow manuals and schematics
Stable work history
High School Diploma or GED
Must be quality and process oriented
Must be able to communicate in English
Candidates must be willing to submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
SHIFT: Day shift, M-F, 7AM-4PM + some OT
PAY: $15.50-16.50/hour
