About this job
The Shop Helper will be helping finish parts when they come off from the fab area using hand grinders and sanders so they need experience with hand/power tools. They will then be putting the parts on pallets and getting them wrapped ready for them to be shipped out to customers.
This is a great opportunity to start with a company and grow within to brake/laser positions down the road.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must:
-6+ months of previous manufacturing experience preferably in a metal manufacturing environment
-Mechanical aptitude with previous experience using hand or power tools (they will be using sanders and grinders)
-Previous forklift or overhead crane experience (will use when moving over 75lbs)
Plus:
-Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints
