Imaginon Cashier PM Shift - Full-time / Part-time

Nature of the Work: The Parking Attendant Cashier communicates with customers of the Imaginon Children's Library and collect fees based on library parking, special events, and other general events held at the Library. This person also greets patrons and collects parking fees and/or passes as they enter the facility. Additionally, they provide lot information, monitor security conditions in garages and lots, and contact tow trucks or police when needed.

Primary Duties: Direct vehicles to available parking spaces, Greet each customer entering parking facility, Collect revenues and issue parking tickets to cash parker, Collect parking passes from prepaid patrons, Assist patrons with questions, Set up and move traffic cones and barricades to control traffic in assigned area, Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude, and Other duties as assigned and required

Skills and Abilities: Customer-Service orientation, with a fun, friendly attitude and professional appearance at all times, Ability to speak well to patrons and other employees,, Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, Ability to write simple correspondence, Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and count money and change quickly, Ability to troubleshoot common issues, Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Other Qualifications: Employees must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required Employees must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, during events, the noise level may be loud; Position is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, Position requires working near moving vehicles, Position requires working in outdoor weather conditions, frequently being exposed to extreme temperatures.
