Job Summary
Electronic Repair Technician
Department: Operations
Job Status: Full Time
Reports To: Production Manager
Work Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F (Typical) Occasional extended hours to complete some tasks.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing electronic devices while providing good customer service and a quality product. Common tasks performed on a daily basis are removing and replacing screens, digitizers, charging ports, motherboards and similar work on cellphones, smartphones, and tablets. Refurbish electronic devices.
MUST HAVE SKILLS
- Ability to disassemble and assemble all Cellphones, Smartphones, and Tablets. Experience with other devices a plus.
- Ability to use test equipment including but not limited to multi meters, oscilloscopes, logic probes, power supplies, RF test equipment, computers, software and other equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and make effective repairs
- Ability to read technical instructions, flow charts, electrical schematics, PCB layouts, etc.
- Ability to Communicate effectivelyRelated Associate's Degree is Preferred. Experience may be substituted for education.
- EDUCATION
- Related Associate's Degree is Preferred. Experience may be substituted for education.
