Interior Design & Sales Consultant - Full-time / Part-time

We are seeking an Interior Design and Sales consultant to join the QW team! At our furniture store, your primary responsibility will be to work with customers to generate sales. We are a local, family owned company looking for an energetic and outgoing person to fill this role. While retail sales experience or design experience is preferred, it is not required to apply.

QW Furniture specializes in upper end (mostly Amish) furniture. We feel our merchandising creates a perfect environment for sales people and designers to thrive. We provide all the training and support needed to set up our sales people for success. We know retail hours aren't always the most appealing (weekends, holidays) but we do our best and can often accommodate time off requests. Part of working for a small business - we've got your back!

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers to generate sales
• Assist with customer design needs (Interior design skills)
• Create product quotes for customers
• Answer customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in showroom design layout (Interior design skills helpful)
• Social media marketing
• Assist in website development/design

Qualifications:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with computers and technology
• Design experience preferred
• Sales experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate college degree or higher preferred but not required

Schedule:

• Full-time. 5 days per week (40 hours)
• Since this position is retail sales, many weekends and holidays will be a requirement
