Job Description

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Promotes and sells tennis shop merchandise.
2. Assists members and guests with tennis shop purchases.
3. Records all charges.
4. Assists in Court assignments for member and league play.
5. Stocks merchandise when necessary.
6. Supplies towels, cups and ice to members and guests and takes towels to and from laundry area.
7. Changes displays when instructed.
8. General housekeeping duties in and around shop.
9. Keeps storage area tidy.
10. Reports all complaints to the Tennis shop Manager or Director.
11. Attends staff meetings.
12. Assists in league play, special events and tournament organization as assigned.
13. Regular and prompt attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
2. Experience in the Sport of Tennis preferred by not required.
3. Excellent verbal and written communications required as well as proper phone etiquette, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills.
4. Interact professionally with other employees, members and guests.
5. Social media savvy, extremely helpful.
OTHER:
1. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
2. Must be able to lift push and pull up to 30 lbs without restrictions
3. Must be available for emergency and scheduled work requirements on evenings, weekends or holidays
