Inventory Storeroom Attendant – Beaver Dam Wisconsin

Kelly Services is currently recruiting for a position as full time Receiving Coordinator/Inventory Clerk for our client, one of the world’s leading food and beverage companies, at its location in Beaver Dam Wisconsin.

This assignment pays $15/hour and starts ASAP.

In this role The Storeroom Attendant will help maintain inventory control and organization for the plant storerooms. This position performs physical inventories along with reconciliations through the various inventory management systems. The role of this position is to help ensure accountability of $1.3MM worth of inventory in MRO. Works with a variety of other production related materials such as lubricants, glue, and clothing. This position must be familiar with department assignment of equipment parts, manufacturer names and parts numbers, receiving materials, recording duties, and issuing materials. The Storeroom Attendant works with internal and external resources to ensure that the necessary parts are in stock and accounted for.

Job Description:

• Assist in the facilitation of the company strategies for Maintenance, Repair, and Operating (MRO) Management

• Assist in the control $1.3MM worth of MRO inventory

• Work with suppliers to lower on-hand cost and remove obsolete parts

• Work with Planner to kit up-coming jobs. (Kitting)

• Assist planner with creation of Bill of Material (BOM) for each piece of equipment.

• Work with MRO buyer on outstanding Purchase Orders and open requisitions.

• Review daily reservation report and pull parts for kitting.

• Perform physical inventory of parts and supplies by conducting daily cycle counts of selected materials. • Reconcile received parts, packing slip, and purchase order to ensure accuracy. • Issue parts and supplies to Maintenance and Production members

• Perform daily transactions in SAP • Perform daily dispatching of repair and returns • Perform daily restocking of bins for goods receipts (parts & supplies)

• Perform daily retrieval & disbursements of goods issue tickets from satellite storerooms. • Assist other attendants in identifying, locating, and issuing parts and supplies

• Able to work with little or no direct supervision at times

• Demonstrates flexibility to work extended shifts when required

• Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Data Entry SAP a plus, SRM a plus

Skills and Abilities:

• Min 1-2 year previous experience working in a computerized warehouse environment is necessary.

Computer skills required include data entry and spreadsheet applications computer knowledge Microsoft Office, SAP a plus

• Warehouse position requires a fair amount of specific knowledge such as the principles of inventory control via warehouse management systems, the functionality of specialized warehouse equipment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 80 pounds occasionally

• Familiarity with standard shipping, receiving, production and inventory control documentation.

• 1st shift position be flexible for 2nd

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Term of Assignment:

• Tentatively starts 3/2018 to 7/2018

• Must be flexible for 1st and 2nd shift hours.
