Job Description

Are you passionate about fitness and want to help others get and stay fit? We have immediate openings for Membership Sales Representatives. The primary purpose of the Membership Sales Representative at Columbia Association is to create and deepen relationships with members that we know and do not yet know so as to add value to their membership and enhance their sense of belonging and community with the club, as reflected by facility metrics.

Reporting to the Membership Sales Director, the Membership Sales Representative will work primarily from the fitness club and will accomplish the following:

- Ensure consistently meeting or exceeding goals.
- Work as a team member with other staff to provide a high level of service to members; inspiration and leadership to staff; and assist in directing the flow of the club for smooth and profitable operation.
- Provide effective membership tours to prospective members and guests.
- Work as a team member with other staff to provide a high level of service to members.
- Follow up with prospects.
- Generate new sales leads through prospecting.
- Make calls daily to current members.
- Listen to and read relevant sales materials as well as attend and participate in weekly sales meetings to enhance performance.
- Complete all membership paperwork accurately, completely and promptly.
- Attend all Member Mixers and monthly social functions.
- Work morning, evening and weekend shifts as needed

Compensation: Competitive base plus commission

Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. 2-3 years of previous sales experience preferred
3. Proven experience meeting and exceeding goals
4. Competitive drive to succeed in a performance-based culture
