Full Time Retail Sales Associate / New Balance Fit Specialist / Running & Fitness Ambassador
New Balance Raleigh-Durham is seeking friendly, service oriented individuals to join our team. Those with a passion for running, walking, fitness and/or athletic sports are preferred. Full and/or part time positions are available for our Raleigh location.

As a New Balance Fit Specialist you must be attentive and courteous while providing superior service to help runners, athletes and walkers move faster, further and more frequently by fulfilling their needs with properly fitted footwear, performance apparel and accessories whether someone is training for their first 5K, running a marathon or simply looking to get moving for a healthier and more active lifestyle. All of our focus is to deliver an exceptional guest experience each and every visit.
As an NBRx Fit Specialist, you will work with our Certified Pedorthists on staff to provide comfortable solutions for medical referrals such as runners and athletes who may be recovering from injury and need properly fitted performance footwear, orthotics, etc., and people with complex foot problems. New Balance is well respected and the brand most referred by medical professionals for their patients.
As a Running and Fitness Ambassador you may well perform all the duties of an RSA or New Balance Fit Specialist, but also assist in the execution of store events, clinics, classes, fitness walking and training groups, New Balance Run Club activities, etc.
Other duties for our staff include maintaining displays, merchandising, stockroom replenishment and organization and general store maintenance. The ability to move freely throughout the store, provide services, crouch, kneel, climb a ladder and lift or move boxes 10 to 40 pounds is necessary. Computer skills for navigating POS transactions and B2B sites, strong verbal communication and legible handwriting are all important to performing the job as well. Flexible scheduling is required based on the needs of the business and will often include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Base hourly compensation vs. performance compensation allows top performers to excel and earn well above base wages. Full time positions include Personal Time Off plus a benefit package including dental, vision, life, short and long term disability.
