Awesome Night Baker Role- With Flexible Hours! - Full-time / Part-time

The Daily Bread’s Baking Program is looking to fill a position and offer unique opportunity to express your creative talent and to learn new skills that you may not get elsewhere. In our made-from-scratch kitchen, we use high-end ingredients using time-tested traditional methods to create original breads, pastries and desserts that you can only find at The Daily Bread Bakery & Café. We offer a family-like atmosphere of professionals that work hard, have fun and truly enjoy their work.

We are looking for a Night Baker, 2 nights per week, and optional production baker day time shifts.

Summary of Position:  
Accurately & efficiently prepares & bakes products based on pan-up sheet.  Mixes, shapes, proofs, & bakes breads & other bakery products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Always come to work with a clean uniform.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation.
• Be a team player—support and assist your fellow team members whenever possible.
• Maintains sanitary standards.
• Responsible for reading the pan-up sheet.
• Responsible for managing bakeoff or products based on pan-up.
• Preparing & baking items according to set standards.
• Communicates with other production crew members product needs & concerns
• Keeps work area stocked with necessary supplies.
• Maintains appropriate portion-control when finishing items.
• Be able to consistently prepare, shape, & bake fresh dough products to meet production needs
• Cleans equipment, as assigned, thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
• Keeps floor in work or service area clean and free of debris.
• Completes shift work, as assigned, timely and thoroughly in accordance with department standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
