Design Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Award winning Civil Engineering and Environmental Consulting firm is currently seeking a Design Manager to join their team. This is a long term, stable position that will provide opportunity for growth and professional development.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively plan and manage the allocation of resources to meet deadlines
• Review and prepare technical specifications, contract documents and estimates
• Lead and Manage a team of designers and drafters

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Engineering Technology or related field. (Experience will be considered in place of education)
• Experience with Land Development, Electrical, Utility or Telecommunication Design
• Experience with Project Management or Management of a team
• Strong Customer Service Experience
• Ability to obtain a Security Clarence
• Strong Proficiency with AutoCAD
• EIT or PE is a plus but not required

Pay: $75,000-$110,000 (compensation will be competitive and based on experience)

Location: Northern Virginia
