CNC Machinist - Full-time / Part-time

CNC Machinist 1st shift in Goldsboro, NC.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is accountable for the set-up and operation of production equipment in Fabrication or other assigned
manufacturing area to safely and cost effectively produce high-quality product on a timely basis that meets customer
requirements.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Set-up, including programming as needed, and operate production equipment to produce product that meets
internal and external customer demands. This operation may include but not be limited to:
o Lathe Operations
o Johnford Machine Center
o Monarch Machine Center
o Quickmill Machine Center
o Moriseiki Machine Center
o Hybrid Press Machine Center
o Dalex Machine Center
o Robotic Welder Machine Center
 Produce a quality product that meets customer and design specifications while minimizing scrap and rework
costs.
 Learn, know and adhere to the Inspection Documentation requirements including the Inspection Frequency
Chart and applicable tracking logs.
 Conduct post machining dimensional checks required. Complete any quality documentation required.
 Support other team members with their duties to ensure the smooth operation of the department in support of
team and divisional goals.
 Monitor inventory levels and locations, and work with support staff to ensure the availability of inventory
needed to produce goods on schedule and according to customer requirements.
 Adhere to processes and procedures on a continual basis to ensure departmental goals are being met related
to efficiencies, equipment utilization and time usage in order to maintain or improve cost competitiveness.
 Provide quality in all goods and services delivered to internal and external customers through thorough
planning, responsible implementation on provided schedule, and continuous improvement.
 Follow and continually monitor established safety procedures to assure a clean, safe work environment is
promoted and maintained.
 Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that is professional,
upholds the mission, vision and values, and interfaces well with customers, clients, co-workers and leadership
members.
 Attend and actively listen/participate at required communication meetings.
 Complete all required training, including safety training, quality training and procedural training.
 Work to and/or help create standard work procedure (SOP).
 Adhere to and work towards safety and quality goals throughout the facility.
 Clean and maintain machines as required.
