Product Technician / Delivery Driver - Part-time

Cleek's Inc. (dba Aaron's) is looking to hire a Product Technician / Delivery Driver to join our winning team!

Cleek's Inc. is a family owned company serving Mid-Missouri since 1956 in the retail and leasing industry of household appliances, electronics, computers, and furniture. In December 2008 we were proud to become an Aaron's franchisee and today we operate 5 Aaron's franchise stores. We are seeking high-

The individual in this position will be a very visible person in the community as they will be in the field on deliveries regularly. Therefore it is extremely important that they operate our delivery vehicles in a safe and professional manner. They are also the last contact we have with our customer and the impression the delivery driver leaves at the customer's house plays a vital role in the customer's satisfaction. We always strive to make a "red carpet delivery" so that the customer will want to obtain ownership of the product and refer their friends and relatives to Aaron's!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The acquisition and maintenance of customers

• Properly loading and securing merchandise on delivery vehicle

• Safely driving delivery vehicle

• Properly installing and demonstrating the product to the customer in their home

• Clean and certify merchandise in the quality assurance center

• Maintain the store's backroom warehouse in a neat and orderly manner

• Ensure that delivery schedule is followed and route sheets are properly filled out

• Confirm customer identification, explain lease agreement, collect money, and obtain customer's signature on lease agreement

• Assist with showroom display and marketing efforts in the field

• Verify correct merchandise and accessories for delivery

REQUIREMENTS:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Minimum high school diploma

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and have a good driving record

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and using a dolly for merchandise 50-300 pounds

• Professional and neat appearance

• Strong technical skills or working knowledge of appliances & electronics
