Safety Coordinator - Full-time / Part-time

Pay: $16/HR

Shift: 2nd (Overtime as needed)

Duties:
 

• Conduct plant safety training and audits  when required-plant walk through, and safety spot checks(PPE)
• Assist with plant safety, health and workers compensation compliance functions
• Pass and retain any medical and safety certifications required- administer first aid as a first responder
• Work with other Team members and departments, especially HR, on Safety and Security issues
• Assist employees in getting PPE when needed
• Follow additional duties as assigned, including continuous improvement through approved classes and seminars related to the safety and security profession and personal growth

  Experience and Requirements:
 

• Bilingual English and Spanish speaker
• Minimum 2 years of safety, security, first aid or work-related field experience
• Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook experience required
• Working knowledge of safety and environmental compliance standards worker s compensation
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
