About this job
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking Plant Helpers in Gallatin, TN for Day Shift – 7:00am-7:00pm and Night Shift – 7:00pm-7:00am (Rotating Days). Pay Rate: $10.00. Interested candidates should have previous Industrial experience. The positions are Evaluation-to-Hire and once hired Full-Time – Pay Rate will increase $18.00.
Responsibilities of the Plant Helper:
- Load and unload materials
- Crate and uncrate materials
- Break up cake/frozen materials
- Pile and stock supplies and materials
- Make boxes
- Perform general clean-up duties in and around plant facilities and equipment
- Assist operators and repairmen in processing repair activities as requested
- Maintain a safe, clean, work environment at all times
- Perform all tasks requested by the Supervisor and/or other management personnel
Requirements of the Plant Helper:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Previous Industrial experience
- Ability to use general cleaning tools
Physical Requirements of the Plant Helper:
- Capability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and twist up to 12 hours
Compensation of the Plant Helper:
- $10.00 an hour and once hired Full-Time – Pay Rate will increase to $18.00
