JOB DESCRIPTION
The selected candidate will prepare Parts Manuals and Operator Manuals for all new equipment and components to enable the customer to identify parts that were used to manufacture their custom equipment. Use Composer (or equivalent software) to produce interactive part manuals based on the 3D models used to produce the equipment and components to assist the customer for part identification and ordering.
The candidate will coordinate with the Controls Department to install digital part manuals on the equipment onboard system prior to shipping as well as provide a copy of digital parts manual on flash drive to the customer.
Additionally, the Manual Design Specialist will produce artwork suitable for use in operation and service manuals from drawings or 3D models used for fabrication of the equipment.
Perform desktop publishing tasks as needed to support the manual writers.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical education and/or applicable experience in drafting required. (CAD Certificate or Associate Degree preferred)
Training and/or experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Composer, Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent), including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop required.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail are required.

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
SALARY
$18-22/hour DOE
