2nd shift Quality Control Technician - Full-time / Part-time

PrideStaff is currently seeking experienced candidates for a Quality Technician position with a dynamic and growing Machine Shop based in Monee, IL. This is an outstanding Temp to Hire opportunity that offers pay between $15.00 to $18.00 per hour (depending on experience), excellent benefits after hire, and a great company culture.

This is a 2ND SHIFT opportunity:

2:30pm -1:00am
Monday-Thursday (Fridays off!)

Quality Tech Job Duties:

• Responsible for knowing every dimension of a part and the instruments that are needed to get an accurate read from it, this includes In-Process and Final Inspection checks.
• Tracking quality of parts and communicating with both Engineering and Machine Operators to fix any issues.
• Lead training seminars for Machine Operators and Assemblers in blueprint reading and properly using measurement tools.

Prospective Candidates Must:

• Have at least 3 years experience in a Machine Shop/Manufacturing Environment (an Engineering background is a plus!), with a focus on QC
• Be able to fully comprehend manufacturing blueprints and help relay that understanding onto others
• Be proficient with precision measurement tools, especially manual and digital calipers!
• Have at least a high school diploma
• Be willing to submit to a Drug Screen and Background Search.
• Be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
