Blue Dalia is a vibrant Mexican restaurant and tequila bar featuring authentic, contemporary Mexican food and craft cocktails prepared with market-fresh ingredients that will be located on the second floor of Wegmans at the Natick Mall.

The job of the Lead Server is to provide incredible service by working to promote and sell items by sharing extensive knowledge about our menu and beverage offerings while helping to grow restaurant talent by training additional servers; Lead Servers practice suggestive selling techniques to assist guests in choosing the perfect items for their meal. In addition, Lead Servers assist the management team by demonstrating true hospitality through exceptional people skills, food & beverage knowledge and service techniques.

  • Prepare the dining, bar and event areas for service with exceptional attention to detail; ensure all areas are clean, organized and well-stocked; delegate to others as needed
  • Learn about special events and general restaurant operations to provide support and perform additional tasks as needed
  • Lead by example, set a positive tone, and create a spirit of hospitality in the front of the house

Work Environment

  • Work includes walking, standing for prolonged periods of time without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, frequent lifting and carrying, and occasional heavy lifting, along with continuous interaction with guests and co-workers in a fast-paced environment. Work involves exposure to various work environments, including temperature changes. The average weight range of items lifted is 10-20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds occasionally. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in training others
  • Experience working in restaurant service or other industry experience
