The Keystone Resort Recruiter position is based in beautiful Keystone, Colorado. With three unbelievable mountains, tons of outdoor adventures, lodging and dining all in two unique villages, it’s clear that Keystone is truly one of the top places to experience the best of the Rocky Mountains. The Resort Recruiter is responsible for staffing this iconic ski resort and retail operations, and will partner with operational managers and supervisors, human resources operations and the Vail Resorts enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition team to effectively staff Keystone.  This individual is responsible for maintaining strong business relationships and in depth understanding of the business as well as achieving delivery on assigned requisitions. The recruiter will assure a professional and positive experience for electronic and walk in applicants.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Relationship Management: 

• Develops deep understanding of Keystone Ski Resort operations.
• Acts as local point of contact and TA subject matter expert to business operations and human resources.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with community partners.

Delivery Management:

• Responsible for delivery of year round and seasonal staffing needs on assigned requisitions within Keystone Ski Resort including sourcing, screening, selection and application processing through the applicant tracking system.
• Accountable to relationship manager for delivery on assigned requisitions.
• Reports delivery status on requisitions within business unit to relationship manager.
• Executes customized yet coordinated TA strategy under direction of TA Manager.
• Participates in job fairs, local college/university recruitment, and social media recruiting.
• Participates in strategic employment marketing and branding initiatives.
• Partners with TA managers and hiring managers to execute a coordinated international recruitment program.
• Provides logistical support for hiring manager training on Applicant Tracking System and Interviewing.
• Partners with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team to ensure effective and timely posting of seasonal and year round positions.
• Provides support to HR Staff regarding staffing levels, TA programs, candidate support.
• Engages applicants in a friendly and professional manner consistent with Vail Resorts values; provide support to walk-in, electronic  and telephone candidates
• Assists applicants with setting up their user profiles, tech support and troubleshooting, as well answers recruitment related questions.
• Manages and organizes a high-volume work load while multitasking, including working on split screens.
• Responsible for managing interview schedule and workload.
• Provides professional communication and interaction in person, on the phone and through email.
• Functions under heavy pressure with constant phone use, to perform repetitive tasks and disperse the same information repeatedly.
• Ensures each candidate has a positive recruiting experience with our organization.
• Utilizes daily reports to manage and organize a high-volume work load.
• Serves as a local resource to candidates; understand, communicate, and answer candidate questions.
• Serves as subject matter expert on internal hiring process and system.
• Engages in compliant hiring practices and partner with regional TA Manager to ensure hiring manager compliance.
• Responsible for compliance/audit initiatives; including but not limited to: AAP, EEO, OFCCP.
• Partners with local HR team to facilitate Vail Resorts background check process.
• Participates as an active member of the local Human Resources team.
• Follows PO process and meets budget requirements

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree - preferred

Experience in human resources and specifically talent acquisition  - highly  preferred

High-volume recruiting experience – highly preferred

Prior experience in a ski resort or hospitality setting, retail or seasonal environment – highly preferred

Proven ability to build internal and external customer/candidate relationships - required

Strong written and verbal English communication skills - required

Demonstrated time management skills and ability to multi-task - required

Ability to work varying shifts that may include evenings, weekends and holidays – required

Prior experience using Success Factors or other Applicant Tracking System - preferred

Prior experience with Peoplesoft – preferred

Familiarity with local area - preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish – preferred
