Thank you for your interest in Vail Resorts! We have TWO Event Coordinator positions open with our premier properties in Vail. One role available at The Lodge at Vail and one at the Arrabelle at Vail Square. We will place the top candidate at the property we feel they would be the best match for. We are looking for two enthusiastic Coordinators to join our amazing events team and help to organize an Experience of a Lifetime for our guests. The Event Coordinator is responsible for providing the Director of Events and the Event Managers with administrative support in soliciting new conference and catering accounts, maintaining relationships with exisiting accounts and  building  relationships within the local community.  Provides the support in coordinating the details associated with all client functions to ensure our group/event guests have the highest quality experience possible while maintaining a profitable  Department.  Assists in preparing detailed group resumes and  works closely with the F&B and Culinary teams to coordinate functions.  Responsible for distribution of banquet/catering information to internal and external customers.  Further responsible for support the Vail Mountain component of our business by processing lift ticket sales and varied customer focused tasks. 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Must have excellent computer skills in programs including Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • One year of administrative experience required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex correspondence required. 
  • Ability to effectively present detailed information both verbally and in written form to guests, employees and management required.

 Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Delphi preferred.
  • Conference/Catering coordination experience preferred.
  • Fine hotel experience preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule required, generally normal business hours are required with frequent need to work nights, holidays and weekends.  Summer Saturdays are extremely busy.
