Full Stack Developer - Full-time

A successful Full Stack Developer will have the following::

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or 7+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) 
• 5+ years’ experience developing on one or more of the following: Ruby on Rails, django, node.js/react, Java
• 2+ years in solving complex technical problems
• 2+ years applying design principles to further scale systems
• Utilize software design, development best practices and TDD
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GitHub working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Systems such as Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) - Agile software development experience
• Experience using NOSQL data stores such as Elastic Search, Mongo db\
• 1+ years of SQL and updating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• 3+ years Unix flavor development and production environments
• AWS experience
• Working with remote teams

DISH Technologies, in Superior, CO (DISH North), is hiring a Full Stack Developer who will design, develop, and maintain web and mobile DISH Anywhere products.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
• Collaborate with group re-architecting portions of backend and refactor features to improve performance and maintainability 
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications by identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Ability to work in a dynamic development environment and be responsible for delivering reliable software components
