A successful Director of In-Home Services Business Development will possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred, plus 10 years experience in achieving revenue goals through identifying new partnerships
  • Dynamic, high energy, outgoing personality who is exceptional at analyzing a business, setting strategy and engaging with cross functional partners
  • Seeks to take ownership, has a strong educational foundation, shows passion for the business, strong competitive nature, persistence, and is an entrepreneurial thinker
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface and sell at all levels of management
  • Proven track record of developing relationships with clients, co-workers, vendors and business partners
  • Ability to work independent of supervision and make decisions of wide variety and complexity
  • Able to professionally perform sales presentations
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

 

Dish is transforming our In-Home Services organization into a fulfillment organization helping some of the largest companies in the world provide a best-in-class customer experience.  As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for helping us achieve our revenue goals by developing profitable, collaborative and long-term partnerships.

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Identifying new partner leads to help grow our In-Home Services fulfillment business
  • Pitching our services to prospective partners
  • Build and manage relationships across multiple internal and external clients at senior levels
  • Setting sales goals for the business development team and ensuring they are met
  • Negotiating and renegotiating agreements
  • Assist the team in developing their skills
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Other duties as assigned
