Fabricator - Full-time / Part-time

A Sandusky, Oh company has an immediate need for a Fabricator

 

         $15.00/hour, (+) depending on experience

         Hours: 2nd shift; 3:00pm 1:30am; Monday-Thursday: train on 1st shift; M-F 6:30am-3:00pm; plus O/T, required

         Temp-to-hire potential

 

Duties include:

         Setting-up and operating assigned fabrication machines (i.e. CNC Press Brake, Trump Laser experience)

         Utilize machine tools, including hydraulic and power tools.

         Using standard hand tools, manufacture component parts which are inventoried or shipped

         Recommends set-up and tooling changes for improvement in productivity & efficiency

         Performs other related duties as necessary

 

Requirements include:

         Must have 1-3 years experience with fabrication equipment & basic hand & power tools

         Must have experience with operation and set-up of CNC Press Brakes

         Must be familiar with general factory setting

         Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude, required.

         Numerical aptitude, desirable

         Must be able to work from (advanced) blue prints, sketches, and specific verbal instructions

         Must be able to perform accurate arithmetical calculations and measure and verify dimensions using tape measure, scale, micrometer or templates.

         Must be able to understanding the physical properties of metals applies knowledge in the fabrication of parts, required

         Welding experience (MIG and TIG) a plus+

         Prescreen testing required

         HS diploma/GED required
