Welder - All - Full-time / Part-time

A Sandusky, Oh company has an immediate need for a Welder

 

         $15.00/hour, (+) depending on experience

         Hours: 2nd shift; 3:00pm 1:30am; Monday-Thursday: train on 1st shift; M-F 6:30am-3:00pm; plus O/T, required

         Temp-to-hire potential

 

Duties include:

         Performing a variety of stainless steel fabrication, and weld processes on light gauge stainless steel metal.

         Utilizing fabrication machinery, fixtures, and hand tools to ensure components meet tolerance specifications and quality standards.

         Works from mechanical engineered drawings, work instructions and shop routings

         May be cross trained in job functions

 

Requirements include:

         2 years work related experiences or Associates Degree in Welding Technology.

         Must have skills to perform both MIG and TIG weld processes on thin gauge stainless steel

         Must have skills to produce sanitary welds that meet USDA requirements

         Must work within a team environment as well as independently

         Stainless weld experience preferred.

         Able to perform accurate arithmetical calculations

         Measure and verify dimensions using tape measure, scale, micrometer or templates.

         Understanding the physical properties of metals and applies knowledge in the fabrication of parts required.

         Able to lift 50 lbs.

         Prescreen testing required (both written and actual weld test)

         HS diploma/GED required
