Erie County Oh based company is seeking a machinist Lathes; Mills; Boring Machines
1st shift Mon-Fri 7:00am 3:30pm
$16.00 - 18.00/Hour depending on experience
Temp to Hire potential
Duties include:
Operate machines, such as lathes, milling centers, Bridgeport mills, sanders, grinders and auxiliary machines
Inspect workpieces for defects
Measure workpieces for quality assurance and accuracy of machine operation, using rules, micrometers, calipers, templates, or other measuring instruments.
Able to read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions
Produce parts from company drawings using all machine tools, micrometers and calipers
Requirements include:
Manual machining skill background; 2 years minimum experience
Program and Set-up experience required
Understand how to measure and select tooling
Familiar with Haas turning lathes and/or EZ Trak Bridgeport Proto mills helpful
Able to work independently
Must have a strong work ethic
Understanding of machine shop operations
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Prescreen testing required
HS/GED required
