CNC Mill Operator

LaGrange, Ohio company is seeking CNC Machinist

• $14-$16/hour depending on experience
• Hours: 1st shift Mon-Fri 7:00am 3:30pm. Overtime possible but not guaranteed

         Temp to Hire potential. Amazing benefit package when hired on.

         This position is in a very fast paced production job shop, not custom-type work, with runs between 1-100 pieces

Duties include:

• Responsible for set-up and operation of the CNC Turning Center or the CNC Vertical Machine Center
• From a job instruction sheet, will retrieve materials, pull tooling, set up machines, adjust tooling, run the job and measure out
• Will perform edits in G&M codes on Mori Seiki 4 axis turning centers with Fanuc controls and Mazak with dedicated controls
• Produce parts from company drawings using all machine tools, micrometers and calipers

Requirements include:

         Must have proven skill set to set-up, edit programs and operate Vertical 3-axis mill

         Must have proven skill set to set up, edit programs and operate Mazak and/or Mori Seiki lathes (4 axis) with live tooling and sub-spindle

         Requires good understanding of Edge and Centerline pick up on the Vertical Machine Center

• Check parts to ensure they meet print specifications using proper gauges
• Perform daily maintenance check on machines and report concerns to Production Supervisor
• Use proper feeds and speeds for maximum efficiency
• Deburr work in process
• Arrives to work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
• 1+ year CNC lathe experience
• Understand G&M codes
• Understand how to measure and select tooling
• Able to read blueprints 
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Prescreen testing required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
