About this job

This position reports to the Manager of Central Operations and is responsible for providing diverse administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and other senior Operations leaders, as assigned. Support will include facilitating the daily actions of the COO and key individuals, serving as a liaison between Central Operations and other stakeholders both internally and externally, while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism. This position involves working with sensitive and confidential data, interacting with members of the Board of Directors, and working closely with other Executive Assistants to coordinate highly visible functions and meetings.

Support: COO and Zone:
  • Assist with meeting planning for COO and Zone Executives.
  • Assist with special company projects such as the President's Club
  • Assist with telephone and calendar management for COO
  • Completes special projects for the Zone Executives as needed
  • Provide administrative support to Operations Management
Support: Central Operations:
  • Perform company realignments in the branch master system
  • Manage SteriCycle (recycling vendor) relationship for field operations
  • Contact person for equipment requests for newly hired and terminated field management
  • Assist with CCR/CBR management and tracking
  • Complete tasks as assigned by the COO, VP of Central Operations and Central Operations Manager
  • Provide administrative support to Operations Management
Drive:
  • Perform all job duties in a manner that requires limited supervisory follow-up while consistently accomplishing assigned goals
Manage:
  • Initiate appropriate follow-up on pending items necessary to complete previously assigned tasks
Maintain:
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to all points of the creed
Equivalent Education Level Required: High School Diploma; Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred.

Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years corporate office and executive support experience.

Knowledge Required: Excellent written and verbal communications skills as would be needed to communicate in person, by phone, and through email; adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, evaluate, and apply information. Ability to interact professionally and exhibit appropriate social skills. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products. Ability to develop and maintain business relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, office procedures, contract negotiations, organizational skills and planning experience.
