About this job
Basic Purpose: Responsible for transportation of residents to outside appointments and activities. Provide resident access to the community through the use of the Village's vehicle.* -Medical appointments -Group Outings, including regular shopping excursions -Other personal appointments as availabl -Maintaining appointment schedule; coordinating with other Drivers to insure information is communicated effectively. To utilize community resources to improve, enhance or suggest outings feasible for resident participation. To be aware of vehicle maintenance and report to supervisor any changes in the vehicles driving ability or need for further investigation.* Observe appropriate safety guidelines to ensure safety of passengers.
