The Shakespeare Association of America seeks a Project Coordinator to assist the Association's Executive Director, Dr. Karen Raber. The Project Coordinator will be located in the English department at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS, where the SAA is now housed. Responsibilities will include large-scale event planning; handling and recording organization finances, media, and communications; maintaining membership database; and travel to conference sites. Superior written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently are essential; experience with MS Office (especially Excel), Adobe InDesign, WordPress and other systems and programs. Candidates must be willing and able to work irregular hours during peak periods, including holidays when spring conference is scheduled. The duration of the position is for up to five years, and may be renewed thereafter. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
