MDS Coordinator - Full-time

MDS Coordinator Ridgeway Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a MDS Coordinator with the following requirements:MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER WITH GREAT ORGANIZATIONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS. Must be a registered nurse having clinical experience in a long term healthcare setting, with extensive knowledge in MDS and State and Federal regulations. This position requires computer skills.JOB DESCRIPTION:MDS Coordinator must oversee that resident assessment process, setting the assessment schedule and assuring the assessments are complatere in an accurate and timely manner.Will oversee and develop residents plan of care in conjunction with other interdisciplinary teams.Will review the assessments so they are accurate and completed in a timely manner, will transmit the assessments to the state.Coordination will oversee and assist with the ADL training of GNA's, oversee and coordinate medicare meetings with other disciplines.Ensure Physicians certifications are completed in a timely manner and provide proper documentation to maximize reimbursement.Attend and participate in educational programs to maintain up to date knowledge with current RAI/PPS regulations.MDS Coordinator will oversee and participate in the quality assurance meetings.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
