Providence is calling a status Registered Nurse - Eastside Oncology Hematology / Infusion 2 (0.875 FTE, Days) to Providence Medical Group at the Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.

This is a part-time, day shift position where your schedule would be three, ten hour shifts one week and four ten hour shifts the next.

In this position, you will:

* Provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an oncology clinic or infusion center environment.

* Be accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan.

* Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* Nursing degree/diploma

* All Registered Nurses without a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing most are encouraged to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher within 3 years of hire

* Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of hire, and wherever care is delivered. If RN holds a multi state license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of licensure in the new state(s) of hire

* Oncology Nursing (OCN) Certification

* Bio/chemotherapy certification

* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

* 3 years of oncology infusion experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Bachelor's degree in nursing
