Position: CDL -Class A Yard Hostler
Location: Irvine, CA
Pay rate: $18:00 Per hour + Overtime
Shift Available: Monday- Friday, with Start time: 8pm-6am
Hostlers Duties:
CDL- A Yard hostlers will drive and maneuver yard goat & trailers from dock to dock switching out empty trailers with full trailers to keep production moving.
Safety is always the key, so driver must be safety minded, perform pre and post trips daily, chock rear wheels and be aware of safety hazards in all weather conditions, and check trailers before pulling away from the dock doors.
Ability to work in fast paced environment, moving approximately 30-70+ moves per shift, with a VERY tight yard and the ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain and wind).
CDL- A Yard drivers must have strong communication skills as they will be interacting and taking direction from dispatchers, or warehouse managers on a consistent basis through radio and on board computer system.

Current H6 10 year Printout DMV, under 30 days
