Machine Operator Helper
Staffmark has partnered with the largest printing company in North America, and we currently have openings for Machine Operator Helpers. The starting pay is $11.00/hr., and is 90 day temp-to-hire. We have openings on all three shifts: 6am - 2:15pm; 2pm - 10:15pm; and 10pm - 6:15am. All shifts are Monday through Friday, and overtime may be required.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but we will train the right person.
We offer a comprehensive benefits plan, including medical, optical, and dental insurance, as well as short- and long-term disability insurance, as well as other great benefits. We'll even pay you every Friday.

Responsibilities
Assists in ensuring that production goals are met.
Sets up and assists on the machinery including rotary die cutters, flatbed die cutters, flex press and laminators
Responsible for feeding & delivery of the machines, assisting the assistant operator and lead operator and maintaining quality of work produced
Assists with machine feeding & delivery of product.
Stacking and organizing materials
Pulls and inspects hourly run samples and notifies operator in the event quality standards are not being met.
Sets up and adjusts machine and equipment for production runs.
Cleans, lubricates and maintains assigned machine to ensure its optimum operation.
Installation and removal of tooling
Housekeeping around machine
May provide training for new team members.
Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
