Position Summary: The Financial Analyst serves a key role in financial planning and decision support, working across numerous departments to provide a wide range of financial and business decision support information to operations, finance, and executive management. Responsibilities include coordination and preparation of month-end reporting and analysis, operational and management reporting, business analytics, trend analysis, and ad-hoc analysis to support management decision-making for new and existing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Business Intelligence + SQL Reporting
o Manage and update Business Intelligence dashboards for internal department heads and senior leadership team
o Manage and update weekly reports for senior leadership team in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

• Financial Support to Operations
o Manage Monthly Ops Bonus programs
 Communicate monthly scorecard and bonus results to restaurant operators using SSRS and Business Intelligence tool
 Work closely with accounting and payroll team to communicate month end bonus amounts for monthly bonus payouts
o Participate in the Business Review process as a financial support to the operations team
 Work with the Ops Services team to communicate Agenda and timing for monthly business review meetings
 Ensure accurate reporting is available in SSRS and BI Tool for monthly business reviews
 Actively seek feedback on how to better support the operations team each reporting period
o Operational Analysis
 Work with operators to create new reporting and analyze business trends within the different legs of the business (People, Customer, Sales, & Profits)
o Labor Planning
 Sales Forecasting Guidance for populating the Labor Planning tool
 Proactively manage and update labor matrices based on changing needs of the stores
 Make recommendations to COO on how to better allocate recommended hours within the Labor Scheduling tool
• Ad Hoc Analysis and Reporting
o Manage and prioritize all requests for reporting in Freshdesk ticketing system
o Actively complete all reporting requests and permissions in reporting tools and escalate them to appropriate individuals as needed
o Participate in additional ad hoc reporting upon request

Requirements

Job Requirements
* 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance or other business-related field
* Strong Communication Skills
* Required: Experience with using Pivot Tables & analyzing large data sets in excel.
* Preferred: Experience with Redshift, Aginity, SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Power BI, and other data analysis tools.
