Position Summary: A registered nurse educated in advance practice that has responsibility for supporting standards of practice, establishing staff education and training programs, and facilitating clinical research applicable to the service area.
Collaborates with the Clinical Education Dept.
Manager and nurse managers to develop the staff education plan for identified specialty areas and coordinates or provides appropriate education to meet that plan and Joint Commission standards.
Is central in establishing clinical standards of practice and assuring that the standards are taught to all employees.
Position Requirements Education and Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing REQUIRED * 5 years of experience in nursing REQUIRED * 3 years of experience in specialty or related field REQUIRED * 1 year(s) of experience in teaching or instruction preferred Licenses/Certifications: * Current State of Georgia license as a registered nurse REQUIRED * BLS REQUIRED Shift: * This is a full time day shift position
