Business Analyst II - Full-time / Part-time

Our Vision for this Role

In this role as an Integration Business Analyst II, you will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing and documenting Integration functional design and source to target mapping specifications for Integrations across several cross functional projects under multiple Solution Delivery Domains in IT. You will be responsible for translating the functional requirements into Integration requirements for the solution. You will act as the champion of Integrations functional design needs throughout the project by providing Integrations functional expertise and will be the single point of liaison between functional and technical subject matter experts and Integrations delivery teams throughout the duration of assigned projects. You will validate and support end to end Integrations test cases and test results to ensure the solution is thoroughly tested and delivers the required results.

The Skills that will Make You Successful

• 3-5 years of Business/Systems Analysis experience with at least 2 years of experience defining Integrations functional design and mapping requirements independently across complex projects.
• At least 2 years of experience defining data transformations needs between source and target systems for Integrations.
• Knowledgeable in the following industry standard elicitation techniques for Integrations, including but not limited to,
  • Process Flows, Data Flows, Functional and Non-Functional design specifications, Acceptance testing criteria, Event Response, Use Case Scenarios and User Stories.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Knowledgeable in Data Analysis and Data Mapping
• Strong understanding of SQL
• Able to write pseudo code to specify data transformation needs from source to target.
• Basic understanding of XML, JSON, WSDL, SOAP, REST
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. Must be able to independently facilitate meetings with functional and technical stakeholders located across multiple geographies.

• Experience in developing a work breakdown structure with milestones and deliverables for assigned projects and able to provide status reporting of assigned work to management.
• Strong understanding of IT regulations including SOX, PCI.
• Experience providing sizing and estimates for delivering Integrations functional designs and mappings on assigned projects.
• Ability to multi-task and alter direction easily to accommodate changing priorities
• Ability to take direction from Integration BA III or Integration BA IV on large complex cross functional projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Persuasion and negotiation skills
• Clear and concise documentation skills.
• Very well versed in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working in Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid project methodologies.
• Minimum Formal Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Information technology, information systems, Engineering or related field.
