About this job

Responsible for performing quality functions throughout the foundry, machine shop and melt departments. This contract will last a minimum of 3 months and likely will last upwards of 6 months or longer.


-Maintain the quality system manuals and documentations up to date.
-Administer the Corrective Action Report (CAR) activity: Keep track of progress; set meetings with the champion, team leader and team members and assist team members.
-Maintain updated controlled documents on share-point system.
-Assists on creating (typing and formatting) work instruction, visual aids and training material.
-File and maintain first article inspection reports (FAI) records of suppliers.
-Assist continuous improvement teams on developing Process Failure Mode Analysis [FMEA], Quality Plans and Process Flow diagrams.
-Create weekly and monthly reports of return material and internal scrap.
-Perform data entry for observational studies and experiments.

Qualifications:

-Strong Microsoft Access experience

-Strong Microsoft Excel experience

-2+ years' experience of Data Administration in a manufacturing environment
