About this job
ACS, in Wilmington, is looking for 30 Production Laborers to join their company. Openings are a result of attrition and growth.
Right now, on the production side of things, they are operating in the 50 - 60 percentile range. Because of this, there are a ton of vacant Extrusion lines in the plant. This why they are looking for so many candidates.
Pay: $11 for 1st shift and $11.66/hour for 3rd shift (6% shift diff. included)
Duration: 90 day to hire
Shift:
1st-6:45am to 6:45pm(Rotating)
3rd-6:45 pm to 6:45 am (Rotating)
OT: Plenty available (Mandatory one day)
JOB DUTIES:
Candidates will be working on the Extrusion lines with a Process Technician, Machine Operator, and another Laborer/Assistant.
There are 3 different departments where candidates can wind up:
1. Rail (4 out of 10 lines running)
2. PVC (Slower pace; only 18 lines)
3. HDPE (Majority of lines are here)
TASKS/JOB TITLES:
1. Board Puller
2. Packer/Labeler
3. Kitting/Packing (New Employees)
