They had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of landmark projects that shape the future of Central Ohio, such as Wexner Medical Center, Nationwide Children's Hospital, and Nationwide Arena.
Company has 9 sites within 270. The process is very unique and takes time to learn. Candidates must have strong skills in one of the following areas: roofing, cabinet making, carpentry, welding, glazing. They'll be trained in each area of the installation process but need to be proficient before they arrive on site with their hands and have strong skills.
Company has work booked out for the next two years steady. Contractors will be getting 40-55 hours weekly, they do not slow down or lay off in the winter.
Typical day is on 1st shift from 6:00AM - 3:00PM. Monday - Friday schedule. Some Saturdays may be required and will be starting as early as 5:00-5:30AM on some job sites.
Company is a leading glazing contractor in Central Ohio. They engineer, fabricate, and install curtain wall windows on large commercial construction projects. This position will require people to be in the office on occasion but mainly in the field - roughly 80% of the time.
Qualifications:
3-5 years field experience with commercial construction, carpentry, roofing, metal stud framing, wood framing and/or installing aluminum curtain wall
*Any commercial window installation or Glazing is a big plus
*Drywall installation and finishing is a good skill to have as well
