CAD Technician - Full-time / Part-time

• Visualizes and works with molds in three dimensions, using reverse images
• Digitizes client contours from plaster casts, splints and foam-in-place sent by the customer
• Examines field digitized client images and determines their suitability
• Uses software to design ContourU seating system, as specified on customer order
• Reviews customer orders and uses selected options to make decisions on final design
• Generates and sends CNC carver control files to the plant for processing
• Digitizes Silhouette data forms using digital drawing pad
• Designs Silhouette seating systems using software

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent Associates Degree in Engineering preferred, or in process
• Two years experience in a manufacturing support function
• Must be able to visualize and work in three dimensions and in reversed images
• Ability to read and calculate fractions, decimals and geometrical calculations
• Well versed in computer operating systems, file transfer and Email use
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
