Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a highly-qualified contracts administrator to support their contracts department. The successful candidate will be organized and able to communicate effectively. Qualified candidates are required to have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project and Deltek are a plus.

Primary Responsibilities
* Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
* Establish a business relationship with internal and external customers. Provide guidance and support to facilitate accurate and timely financial analysis.
* Internal timesheet auditing and reporting as required by management
* Support Internal Compliance Reviews
* Ensure compliance with the Company's financial policies and procedure.
* Continually assess ongoing processes to identify areas for potential improvement. As required, participate in initiatives to improve processes (i.e. participate in working groups).
* Assists in comparing actual project expenses against contract terms and conditions and the Federal Acquisition Regulations for accuracy (POP, funding, billing rates, labor categories, unallowable expenses). Identify errors and issues (incorrect project set ups, misclassified expenses).
* Supports the contract close out process
* Distributes JSRs to operations staff in accordance with finance policies and procedures
* Helps to facilitate any corrections necessary from the JSR review process
* Assists with subcontractor invoice auditing and reporting as required by management

* Assists with creation and updating contract workforce files (CWF) including labor rates, budget ceilings, and other key performance metrics
* Monitors contract activity and advises Controller and Billing Services Manager of any issues that may impact the company's ability to bill and collect in a timely and accurate manner
* Provide other contract deliverables to be determined and as required by contracts and/or management
* Supports with client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
* Supports the completion of the Annual Incurred Cost Submission
* Assists with the preparation and submission of provisional billing rates
* Provide analysis to support DCAA audits
* Supports DCAA audit requests and inquires
* Responsible for accurate and timely updates for contract modifications
* Participate in contract kick-off meetings as assigned by the Project Control Manager/Controller
* Assist with pricing inputs on bid and proposal reviews
* Establish and maintain bid and proposal and marketing project codes, benchmarks, cost tracking, allocation reviews, and regular reporting processes
* Performs other duties and special projects as requested by management
